The Fisherman's Son

How to wrap up the year @BraveNewEarthTV but  with a great short film?  Born and raised at Punta de Lobos, Ramón Navarro found his passion riding the biggest waves on the planet. But his accomplishments in giant surf are just one part of a bigger vision to protect the culture and environment of the Chilean coast. Gives me inspiration for sure!

Three Big Change Films

10:27 PM - 6 December 2015 Last Updated on Wednesday, 30 December 2015 03:40

It's almost the end of 2015 and as we all feel the changes happening on the planet there are three wonderful films to be on the lookout for. What's great about all three is that they all are creating dynamic interactive particpatory websites where a global generation can educate themselves about the situation we are facing.

First one is by Academy Award-winning director, (The Cove) Louie Psihoyos - Racing Extinction

Second is - Time To Choose by Oscar-winning filmmaker Charles Ferguson - TRAILER

and third on my list is Naomi Klein's - This Changes Everthing -   View - TRAILER

Sikkim named top region to visit in 2014 by Lonely Planet

2:25 AM - 31 January 2014 Last Updated on Tuesday, 11 February 2014 22:27
The scenic northeast Indian state of Sikkim has been named the best region to visit in 2014 by Lonely Planet, a leading global travel guide. A little over 5 years ago I made a three month journey to India and was fortunate enough to be able to travel to the region of Sikkim. This short 25 minute film documents my travels with Rico Zook international permaculture teacher who travels parts of Sikkim working with NGOS and communities around using permaculture. Sikkim was what James Hilton might have imagined when he wrote Lost Horizon, a true portal into an unknown world. Put it on your bucketlist if you want to get closer to Heaven before you die.
