So we made it to Three Rivers Farm and came across two fruiting trees. One a asian cherry plum and another called Aronia Berry. Perfect for a Locavore episode.

Ive placed a challenge on myself to come up with a videoblog around Lexicon Of Sustainablities Foodlist. Oh My God what have I done! 52 weeks with a new theme each week. I missed the first 3 weeks so Im starting out with week 4 theme Food Waste. Easy one for me as Ive been throwing away my foodsraps for the past few months!

 The last film Louie Psihoyos directed was an Oscar winner: 2009's "The Cove." The director returns this year with "6," a new documentary that is set to debut a work-in-progress cut at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. Psihoyos' latest film focuses on "the issues of endangered species and mass extinction," and its first trailer lays out the stakes for humanity in terms that will likely take viewers' breath away. Check out the trailer above; "6" will be out in theaters later this year.

A little over 5 years ago I made a three month journey to India and was fortunate enough to be able to travel to the region of Sikkim. This short 25 minute film documents my travels with Rico Zook international permaculture teacher who travels parts of Sikkim working with NGOS and communities around using permaculture.
